SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — The Jordan Anti-Doping Organization (JADO) has been officially selected to lead the Legacy Training Project titled the "Education System Empowerment Project" at the Korea Anti-Doping Agency (KADA) Headquarters in Seoul, held from June 23 to June 24. JADO’s delegation composed of Mr. Yazan Monther; Testing Operations and NFs Director, Ms. Seena Hatuqay; Education and Training and Compliance Director, and Ms. Kefah Taha; Science and Research Director attended the initiative, which marks a significant step toward strengthening compliance with the 2027 World Anti-Doping Code. The core focus of the visit centered on establishing a standardized and accredited program to qualify Clean Sport Educators, alongside implementing the requirements of the International Standard for Education related to monitoring and evaluating the implementation mechanisms of clean sport education programs. This project builds upon JADO’s previous participation in anti-doping training initiatives provided by KADA.

This training serves as the initial step within the first phase of the JADO’s comprehensive strategy to qualify its educational personnel. In preparation for 2027, this project ensures that values-based education and anti-doping information delivery meet the highest international benchmarks for quality and compliance, strictly aligning with the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard for Education.

In tandem with this training project, the delegation's visit to Seoul achieved a major strategic milestone with the signing of a formal Memorandum of Understanding between the West Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization (WARADO) and KADA, signed by the President of WARADO Prof. Kamal Hadidi represented by the Secretary General of WARADO Ms. Seena Hatuqay, and President of KADA Dr. Yun Jun Yang represented by Ms. Jeongah Kwon Director of International Relations Department. The Jordanian Consul in Seoul, Mr. Anwar Alsaleh attended the signing ceremony of the agreement.

This new partnership establishes an integrated framework for the Education System Empowerment Project, prioritizing the bilateral exchange of expertise between the WARADO and the KADA, advanced professional training, and collaborative development programs. Through this cooperation, both organizations aim to exchange innovative strategies and strengthen clean sport education systems internationally.

The outcomes and operational mechanisms established during this pilot phase will be closely monitored and evaluated within JADO through the end of this year. Based on the results of this initial phase, the final strategies, implementation, and evaluation mechanisms will be tailored to suit the member countries of the WARADO and used to conduct training courses. This will expand the positive impact of the program across all five other member countries: Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.

The achievements of this visit reflect the close coordination and unified efforts among JADO, KADA, and WARADO to solidify high-quality, methodologically grounded anti-doping education programs while ensuring full compliance with international standards.
