The Jordan Anti-Doping Organization (JADO) participated in a specialized sports awareness workshop held in Dhofar, Oman. JADO was invited by the Omani Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth and the Oman Anti-Doping Committee to share its expertise and strengthen regional cooperation between the two organizations.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness among athletes and their support teams. It focused on several key topics, including psychological preparation, sports injury prevention, and anti-doping education, to help build a safe and professional sports environment.
Representing JADO, Ms. Kifah Taha, Director of the Science, Data Management, and Research Department, delivered a lecture on the responsibilities of athlete support personnel. She explained the main activities of the anti-doping program, testing procedures, and Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE). She also highlighted the vital role of support staff in educating athletes and promoting clean sport to protect the integrity of competitions.
